Poverty and Pandemic – online discussion

As part of its series of online events on social justice themes, Justice and Peace Scotland is hosting a discussion on Sunday 7th March, 4:70 – 7pm, entitled Poverty & Pandemic. While the focus for the discussion is on Scotland, the impact of COVID-19 has exposed and exacerbated the inequalities and divides in society everywhere, with children and young people deeply affected.

The pandemic situation has meant HCPT’s life-changing pilgrimages to Lourdes are postponed, but the global HCPT family is coming together online on 11 February, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, for its first International Day of Prayer, and everyone is invited to join them, on their Facebook page or YouTube channel. New Facebook group for talking Catholic Youth Ministry

Catholic Youth Ministry organisations have responded to the turmoil of the past few months by creating online discussions and opportunities for learning, which have been appreciated by everyone who took part. Now, a new online Facebook community has been created through a collaboration by Million Minutes, CYMFed and other Catholic organisations titled Catholic Youth Ministry in England and Wales, to continue and develop on those discussions.
