Register your groups by 11th June for Adoremus Youth

As part of Adoremus, the National Eucharistic Congress being held in Liverpool in September 2018, a youth event is taking place on Saturday 8th June, at the Echo Arena near the famous Liverpool waterfront. This will be a superb day,  with over 1000 young people from all over the UK gathered to explore the theme ‘I am the Bread of Life’, and enjoy music, activities and each other’s company.

If you are taking a group, you need to register by 11th June 2018. Visit Animate Youth for registration forms and advice. The cost is just £10  each. If you’d like to have a stall at the event to showcase your work, you can register for one with a donation of £20, and you can also support Adoremus Youth as a sponsor.

The programme begins at 11.30 am, (doors open at 10.00º and ends at 5.30 pm. The day includes music from Jo Boyce and friends, and a range of  inspirational speakers including Katie Prejean. Cardinal Nichols and Archbishop McMahon  are also taking part. We will hear testimonies from young people, and there will be input from Rise Theatre, Cafod, Animate, Salesians, One Hope Project, Joel’s Bar and a whole lot more.

There will be three streams during the event to ensure age-appropriate activities for those aged 13-15, 16-17 and 18-20.  The day will be brought to a close with  exposition of the Blessed Sacrament., and if anyone wants to continue after that, they can go on to Night Fever at the city’s Blessed Sacrament Shrine from 7.30-10.30pm.
