It’s a natural human response to be worried and anxious in these strange times, especially as many youth workers are concerned about their older relatives as well as their children and the young people they support. But for some of us, maintaining our mental health through all of this can be a real struggle. The Catholic Mental Health Project has produced some guidance to help Catholics protect their mental health during coronavirus.
It includes ideas for nourishing our spiritual lives, which supports mental health; tips on handling the bombardment of rolling news; and a list of sources of help and further advice.
You can find the information on their website here.
God bless, and let’s all look after our mental health as we socially-isolate and deal with all of the issues that presents.
