Catholic Gap Years in the UK

Catholic Residential Retreat Centres across the country are still recruiting for volunteers for September 2019.

As a retreat team volunteer, you’ll gain valuable experience working with children and young people. You’ll develop skills in team work, organisation and leadership that will benefit you in whatever future career you choose, or give you the experience you need to change direction from your earlier path. You’ll enjoy the companionship of a community of young adults, and make lifelong friends. You’ll grow in confidence and maturity, have the opportunity to reflect on the next steps in your life, and deepen your faith.

Accommodation, food and an allowance is provided.

Please share this information with your parish or school and encourage young adults you know to consider this life-changing experience.

Look at the retreat centre websites below and contact them for more information. The ads section on our website has more information about even more Catholic Gap Year opportunities in the UK and overseas (Scroll to below the job ads). If you already have experience and qualifications, there are currently leadership jobs available at some of the retreat centres – see our jobs listings.
